Job description
This position located in Salem, NJ, will support the PSEG Nuclear practice areas and operating company clients of PSEG Nuclear. Develop and implement strategic Communication Plan in support of PSEG Nuclear goals and business plans. Work closely with Manager, Nuclear Communications and station leadership to develop clear consistent messages linked to PSEG Nuclear goals, objectives, decisions, events, projects, and initiatives. Develop Intranet content. Manage communication support to leadership, including talking points, short presentations, and online messages. Manage relationships and provide Media Relations support for PSEG Nuclear. Position Nuclear leaders to effectively interact with the media. Assist with the development and implementation of an external outreach strategy and plan.

Required: Undergraduate degree in Communications, or Journalism business or related experience, and 5 plus years experience in Corporate or Government Communications, Journalism, or External Affairs. Required Competencies: Demonstrated ‘hands-on’ experience in developing, managing and implementing comprehensive internal communication plans. Demonstrated ability to develop internal contacts and relationships across a wide range of management levels. Persuasive speaking skills. Strong project planning and organizing skills. Media relations experience. Proven experience in crisis communication. Knowledge of print production and electronic communications (including Web-based).
