Job description
Position Summary:

Establish and maintain Master Contract and Purchase Agreements, place and administer work releases against Master Agreements, Contract and Purchase Order closeout and maintain active Contract and Purchase Order files in accordance with established company procurement procedures. Although the position is a working level lead position, it is anticipated to be subject to growth opportunity. The lead position will initially work closely with a Procurement Coordinator/Small purchase Specialist along with future procurement staff as current and future procurement support needs evolve.

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to the following)*:

E        Establish and maintain Master Contract and Purchase Agreements
E        Place and administer work releases against Master Agreements
E        Contract and Purchase Order closeout.
E        Maintain active Contract and Purchase Order files in accordance with established company procurement procedures.
•        Includes other duties and responsibilities as directed.        


Responsibility for the Work of Others: Work leadership

Titles of those jobs supervised or receiving work leadership: Procurement Coordinator and Procurement Specialist


Job Qualifications (refers to job, not incumbent):        

Education:         Minimum:        Bachelors degree in Business or related major
        Preferred:        
        
Experience:         Minimum:        10 years experience in Contract/Subcontract/Purchasing management. Experience and skills should demonstrate an experienced competency level and may be substituted for education.
        Preferred:        

Licenses, Certifications or Registrations: Ability to gain/maintain an NRC “Q” clearance

Other:         
•        Knowledge of basic commercial contract and purchasing methodologies.
•        Ability to perform duties in a highly visible, fast paced, team environment.
•        Nuclear NQA-1 Contract/Purchasing Experience desired.
•        Experience in contract terms and price/cost negotiations.
•        Experience in both Fixed Price and cost reimbursable contracting methodologies.
•        Experience with Large Plant Construction/O&M procurement activities

Working Conditions (relates to physical environment):

Standard indoor office environment

Physical Demands:

Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc.
No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
