Job description
** This position will initially be based in Haiyang, China or Shanghai, China and will move to support a specific plant site in China.**

Our client, located in Haiyang, China is seeking a Module Design Engineer in its Nuclear Power Plants department.

In this position, a Module Design Engineer can expect to:

- Manage multiple inputs from various disciplines in maintaining updated modules status pertaining to design, procurement, fabrication, transportation, storage and installation
- Lead the development of AP1000 module delivery processes, tools and procedures
- Develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external personnel who are involved in and affected by those tools, processes and procedures
- Assume the role of the Lead Module Engineer in their absence
- Maintain customer relationships, both internal and external
- Develop, apply and maintain reporting practices and communications


The ideal candidate for this position must have:

- A technical bachelor's degree (preferably Mechanical, Nuclear, Electrical or Civil Engineering) plus 5+ years of applicable experience
- Experience in the nuclear industry
- Knowledge and experience working with modular construction design/implementation
- Experience in managing complex and large-scale projects
- Fluency in Chinese is advantageous, but not required
