Job description
NORMAL SCHEDULE:
40 work hours per week. 10 hour work day, Monday through Thursday.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develop and revise electrical drawings per established nuclear station procedures using MicroStation computer aided design software.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Ability for high production of electrical drawings using MicroStation computer aided design software.
•        Ability to complete projects within budget and allowed time frame. Handle multiple tasks simultaneously by prioritizing work assignments.
•        Ability to perform field walk-downs in a nuclear station.
•        Good verbal and written communications/interpersonal skills to interface with a wide diversity of technical personnel (engineers, designers, vendors, craft, and management).
•        Good general computer skills including Windows, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Previous Duke Energy nuclear site experience.
•        AAS Degree in Computer Aided Design.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office and plant conditions with exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, noise, dust, and radiation.

POSITION REQUIRES:
Individual must be able to qualify for Unescorted Access to a nuclear station.

Overtime
Weekend Work
