Job description
ReNuke Services is currently recruiting for a Procurement Engineer for a 9 month project to help with a backlog of purchase requisitions at Harris Nuclear Plant. This person will be responsible for working with the plant on their needs for various supplies & materials. They will have to research and find the materials and run the technical and quality assurance requirements on the materials. This person will then send the request off to purchasing to go and buy. If purchasing is not able to find an exact match, the Procurement Engineer will be responsible for running engineering analysis to find an alternate solution. An engineering degree is STRONGLY preferred.

The manager is willing to consider a non-degreed person if he/she has a substantial (5+yrs) procurement engineering background. Target pay is $45-50/hour. The manager is willing to pay $70/day per diem, but preference will be given to LOCAL candidates first. Location: Harris Nuclear Plant. The manager needs an individual with an ELECTRICAL engineering background.
