Job description

Basic Qualifications:
Possess a minimum of five years experience in performing or in a supervisory function in a maintenance discipline (i.e. electrical, test, computer, Instrumentation & Control, etc.), performing as a planner, scheduler, lead, or being directly involved with core functions of implementing maintenance. Possess a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, a technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Must have broad knowledge of power plant maintenance, planning, repetitive maintenance, scheduling and work control processes. Shall have a high school diploma or equivalent.

General Job Requirements:
The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience as electrical, test, computer, or I&C craft. Demonstrated experience leading, developing, or motivating personnel. Must have the ability to create and promote a safety conscious work environment that supports individuals raising safety issues and promotes a questioning attitude. Experienced with preparing or supervising the development of accurate schedules, estimates, manpower plans, and/or resource loading. Demonstrate knowledge of human resources policies, procedures, principles, & laws including discipline, performance management, salary administration, selection, affirmative action, and equal opportunity legislation. Demonstrated experience developing project completion reports. Demonstrate the ability to make effective, strategic decisions with moderate impact. Demonstrated ability to motivate self and others to overcome obstacles and achieve goals. Demonstrated experience in consulting with clients, including independently identifying client needs, developing action plans, identifying deliverables, and presenting results. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be customer focused, to appropriately identify and respond to business needs. Demonstrate the ability to work successfully in a fast paced environment. Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with contractors, regulatory agencies and all levels of management to update project status, develop solutions, and ensure stakeholder buy-in. Must demonstrate the ability to take initiative and accountability for results.

Preferred Skills:
Be proficient in on-line maintenance order planning and scheduling systems (e.g. MOSAIC/SAP), Excel, Power Point, R&R (Report Writer), SQL report writer, P3, and Lotus Notes.

Typical Responsibilities:
This position performs the daily functions associated with repetitive maintenance order (RMO) assigned to Maintenance and Construction Services division. Typical responsibilities include: coordinating and tracking of RMO Preventative Maintenance (PM) & Surveillance (SV) Work Orders; evaluating metrics as well as working with site control and engineering to reduce backlog and overdue PMs; assisting with the successful implementation of SAP-ERP and participating in the development of RMO task libraries prior to and after SAP go-live; developing and maintaining SAP RMO task libraries including their organization and modification; implementing RMO updates based on engineering equipment classification evaluations and double filter reviews; monitoring RMO process activities to include scheduling, implementation, late evaluations, backlog and closure; assisting in development and maintenance of RMO related procedures and guidelines; coordinating with procedure writers in task list development; participating in the T24 week RMO review process; and performing other duties and responsibilities as required.
