Job description
DOE facility located in the southeasr has a need for Senior Nuclear Safety Analysts for long term opportunities.

Provide hazards and accident support on authorization basis activities for SRNS programs. This position requires a senior level accident analyst capable of performing hazards and accident analysis in accordance with 10 CFR 830 for significant authorization basis activities on various SRNS programs. The person must have demonstrated experience in successfully developing and defending detailed, complex accident analysis (and associated supporting technical bases) on a major DOE facility or project authorization basis.

Description of ideal candidate
Required Qualifications
•        BS in engineering or a scientific discipline;
•        8-10 years engineering experience within the DOE complex, or related experience.
•        Excellent verbal and written skills required.

Desired Qualifications
•        10 years experience as a senior nuclear safety analyst preparing key safety analysis for a DOE nuclear project, program, or facility.
