Job description
DOE facility in the southeast has a need for Nuclear Safety Analysts for long term opportunities.

Provide hazards and accident support on authorization basis activities for SRNS programs. This position requires experience as an accident analyst capable of performing hazards and accident analysis in accordance with 10 CFR 830 for authorization basis activities on various SRNS programs. The person must demonstrate experience in successfully developing and defending important sections of accident analysis on a DOE facility or project authorization basis.

Description of ideal candidate
Required Qualifications
•        BS in engineering or a scientific discipline;
•        3-5 years engineering experience within the DOE complex, or related experience.
•        Excellent verbal and written skills required.

Desired Qualifications
•        3 years experience as a nuclear safety analyst preparing safety analysis for a DOE nuclear project, program, or facility.
