Job description
Entergy Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, is an integrated energy company engaged primarily in electric power production and retail distribution operations. We own and operate power plants, and are the second-largest nuclear generator in the United States. This position will be located at our Palisades Nuclear Power Station in Covert, MI.

Sr. Outage Scheduler (Nuclear)

Salary: $76,500 - $114,500

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

•        Developing and maintaining detailed outage schedules
•        Participating on outage high impact teams
•        Developing and maintaining resource loading profiles
•        Developing "What if" schedules and performing analysis with the working groups to determine the most effective method of scheduling the work
•        Performing critical path analysis and debugging
•        Applying schedule logic ties as appropriate to ensure proper work flows
•        Serving as a member of the Emergency Response Organization
•        Recommending changes to existing methods, procedures, and processes to improve overall outage activities

Required Qualifications:
7 years of nuclear power plant experience. Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operations.

Desired Qualifications:
BS Degree in Engineering or other scientific discipline generally associated with power plant operations. Proficiency with current computer business applications. 5 years experience in maintenance or operations at the facility. Present or previous Senior Reactor Operator or Nuclear Control Operator License. Outstanding communication and conflict management skills.
