Job description
I & C SYSTEM ENGINEER
Full-time / Permanent

Position Description:

•        Responsible for technical support of short-term and emergent maintenance and operational issues, performing or leading equipment and system problem investigations and troubleshooting, preparing operability recommendations, providing technical support of procedure changes and preparing and reviewing 50.59 screenings/evaluations, temporary modifications parts equivalencies and minor modifications in support of short-term maintenance and operational issues

•        Travel to support FPLE objectives and act as a member of the emergency response organization may be part of the requirements of this position

Position Requires:

•        Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering (or other related major)
•        Previous nuclear plant experience preferred including knowledge of electrical/instrumentation systems, Standard Technical Specifications, industry codes and standards
•        Experience with electrical and instrumentation design, supporting calculations and associated configuration management processes
•        Strong interpersonal skills, self-starter, organized, high level of verbal, written communication and computer skills
