Job description
ReNuke Services has an IMMEDIATE need for an Estimator for the Crystal River Florida Nuclear Projects and Construction Department. The position is responsible for leading the estimating group in accurately estimating the cost and schedule for plant projects, including new plant construction. This position is also responsible for collaborating with project managers, schedulers, and planners during all phases of major projects with the organization. The incumbent will serve as the subject matter expert for Major Projects and will provide leadership and oversight to individuals within the workgroup. Additional responsibilities include: *Establish unit pricing for conceptual estimating. *Establish estimating library and database history. *Prepare all material and labor estimates for self-performed work. *Assist project managers with determining project scope of work. *Validate other contractors estimates and archive past bids. *Train new employees as needed. * Lead employees within the workgroup. *Must be able to support the plant during outages (including working various shift schedules). *Must be able to hold a position within the Emergency Response Organization. Requirements include: Strong communication and collaboration skills required. A working knowledge of Windows-based computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite are required. Proficient in Passport, Business Objects, ProjectView desired. Previous project management experience required. A minimum of 4 years of construction industry experience performing project management and estimating of labor and materials required. Candidates with construction industry experience working on multimillion dollar projects preferred. Qualifications - Lead level. Coaches and communicates with other team members to implement objectives. Plans and assigns personnel for projects and tasks. Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to results expected.

Bachelors Degree or equivalent and 7+ years of professional experience. The location is Crystal River Nuclear Plant, Florida. The duration is for 3 months, but there is a possibility that the assignment will go longer. The hourly rate is $70.00, but there is some flexibility for the right person. A daily per diem rate of $75.00 is also available and mob/demob of $0.505 per mile.
