Job description

Washington Division of URS Corporation is seeking a Consulting Structural Engineer for long-term Nuclear Power Plant projects in Princeton, New Jersey.

Education:
• BS Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) with a Structural emphasis
• Must be a registered PE

Experience Required:
• 10+ years experience in Structural Engineering working on heavy industrial projects preferred
• Steel/Concrete Design experience for nuclear power plant or heavy industrial structures mandatory
• Detailed knowledge of ACI, AISC, and IEEE 344 Codes required
• Must be proficient in the use of ANSYS, SASSI, STAAD, STARDYNE, or GSTRUDL for structural design and seismic analysis
• Experience with equipment seismic qualifications, new Nuclear Power Plants and preparer PCM including 50.59 process and FSAR change required
• Blast experience required
• Familiarity with new Nuclear Power Plants and ability to be badged on a nuclear power site desired
