Job description

Washington Division of URS Corporation is seeking Structural Engineers for long-term Nuclear Power Plant projects in Princeton, New Jersey.

Education:
• BS Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) with a Structural emphasis
• EIT (FE) Certificate Preferred

Experience Required:
• 2+ years Structural Steel/Concrete Design experience with nuclear power plant or heavy industrial structures preferred
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, and IEEE Codes preferred
• Proficiency in STAAD structural design and seismic analysis preferred
• Preparer of design change packages including 50.59 process preferred
• Ability to be badged on a nuclear power site required
• Proficiency in the use of ANSYS, SASSI, STAAD, STARDYNE, or GSTRUDL for structural design and seismic analysis desired
• Experience with Nuclear Power Plants and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installations a plus
