Job description

Washington Division of URS is seeking a Structural Supervising Discipline Engineer for long-term Nuclear Power Plant projects in Princeton, New Jersey.


Education:
• BS Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) with a Structural emphasis required
• Masters Degree or Doctorate Preferred
• PE License Required

Experience Required:
• 15 years Structural Engineering experience with previous Nuclear experience mandatory with new nuclear power plant experience preferred
• Supervisory experience in a Nuclear Power Plant required
• Familiarity with 50.50 change process required
• Knowledge of ACI & AISC Codes mandatory
• Computer use of ANSYS, SASSI, STAAD, STARDUNE or GTSTRUDL for structural design and seismic analysis required
• Structural Steel/Concrete Design experience required including structural qualification of conduit, cable tray, HVAC and seismic qualification of electrical/mechanical equipment
• Must have proven leadership abilities and good communication skills for client interface
• Ability to be badged on Nuclear power site required
• Occasional travel required
