Job description

Washington Division of URS is seeking Structural Engineers for long-term Nuclear Power Plant projects in Warrenville, Illinois.


Education:
• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis
• FE(EIT) certificate preferred, and must be capable of getting PE License

Experience Required:
• A Minimum of 4 years structural engineering experience is required
• Must be able to perform design calculations and design modification packages for structural steel and reinforced concrete in nuclear power plants
• Experience with STAADPro, MathCAD, and AutoCAD required
• Must be able to obtain security clearance for access to a Nuclear Power facility
• Must be willing to perform walkdowns at a nuclear power plant
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
