Job description
This position reports to the Neal McCraw the OMP Contracts Manager. Assignment is for a period from 2-3 years. The contracts manager is responsible the day-to-day contract management for the engineering/construction scope of work for the Tornado/High Energy Line Break (HELB) project. This position will require obtaining and maintaining a commercial nuclear plant security clearance. Limited overtime and travel will be required.

Specific accountabilities include:
1.        Perform daily contract oversight and management for the Tornado/HELB project.
2.        Provide support and guidance for the project managers and teams during contract formation and execution.
3.        Manage and monitor Tornado/HELB prime contract, subcontracts as well as associated equipment and material purchase orders.
4.        Monitor compliance with contract requirements during execution.
5.        Manage and monitor project incentive/penalties.
6.        Review and support the approval of project invoices.
7.        Ensure contract technical and commercial requirements have been met as part of contract closeout.
8.        Support the OMP Contract Administrator in review of contract changes and closeout.
9.        Provide the necessary level of support and leadership for the project teams in task order development and commercial/pricing evaluation.
10.        As required, provide support and leadership to meet site programmatic requirements for organizations such as PIP program requirements, self-assessments, job observations, training, etc.

Basic Requirements:

1.        5+ years developing and/or evaluating commercial proposals
2.        5+ years of contract management or project management experience
3.        Project and Contract Management Experience
4.        Working knowledge of commercial contract formation
5.        Excellent communications and negotiation skills

Desired Requirements:

1.        Engineering, technical or business degree.
2.        Planning and estimating experience for large projects.
3.        5+ years nuclear plant project/contract management experience.
4.        10+ years general project or contract management experience.
