Job description
Entergy Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, is an integrated energy company engaged primarily in electric power production and retail distribution operations. We own and operate power plants, and are the second-largest nuclear generator in the United States. This position will be located at our Waterford 3 Steam and Electric Station in Killona, LA.

Design Engineers: Mechanical, Electrical and Civil

Responsibilities:
1) Prepare engineering specifications and design evaluations.
2) Investigate corrective actions for operating problems.
3) Design, evaluate, troubleshoot and recommend electrical, instrument, relaying and controls for plant equipment operation, starting, stopping and protection circuits.
4) Develop plant modification packages.
5) Perform engineering calculations within established standards and procedures.

Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering. 0 to 8 years experience.

Position can be filled as Engineer I, II, III or Sr., level depending on experience. For Engineer III: 4 to 6 years of relevant engineering experience in electrical power distribution or instrumentation applications. For Sr. Engineer: Greater than 6 years of relevant engineering experience in electrical applications.

Experience in the design and operation of low and medium voltage power distribution systems and protective relaying is desired. Working knowledge of ETAP analysis software is also desired.
