Job description
Position Summary:

Without oversight, manage corrective action program and project tracking indicators. Interface with various departments and key stakeholders to effectively implement and manage contracts with external vendors.
Responsibilities:

•Implementation of effective Corrective Action program to support License requirements with NRC
•Implement contract management oversight and tracking
•Implement effective performance indicators for construction project management
•Implement effective long range planning for large scale projects
•Act as a Project Manager for construction related projects as circumstances may require.
•Interface with regulatory and government agencies / offices.

Support the VP of Construction through:

•Performance Indicator development and implementation.
•Corrective Action Program implementation and oversight.
•Assignments relating to research, collective data, assembling information, formatting information, presenting information to be used in executive level discussions/decision making
•Generate, coordinate, and implement contracts with Finance and Budget

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•Knowledgeable in the generation and application of project management principles, concepts and techniques including contract generation and implementation.
•Knowledgeable of construction principles and problem solving techniques.
•Knowledgeable of the Corrective Action Program and requirements for NRC PI&R.
•Knowledgeable of long range project scheduling and budgeting.
•Knowledgeable of performance indicators for construction (budget, efficiency, production, billing, schedule adherence, etc.)
•Ability to provide prioritization, direction and mentoring for team lead/member to solve a variety of problems.
•Self starter, milestone and goal driven based on established priorities.
•Maintain US NRC nuclear fitness for duty qualification.
•Attain/maintain a US government L-Level or Q-Level security clearance (based on assigned responsibilities).
•Urenco Core Values (Safety, Integrity, Flexibility, Development and Profitability) as they apply at the Manager level.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong interpersonal skills with NEF personnel and outside vendors and contractor personnel.
•Ability to direct and provide working conditions under pressure to meet critical deadlines, yet remain flexible in responding to changing requirements.

Education / Experience Requirements:

Education:

A Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university in Management / Business / Finance / Accounting and five (5) years related experience is required. Ten (10) years of relevant experience in a Project Management / Team role may be substituted for a Bachelor degree.

Physical Requirements:

Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work. Capable of working overtime as needed for project support.
