Job description
EDi is currently taking resumes for LOCAL RCT's in the Los Alamos, New Mexico area.

Description of ideal candidate
These technicians must demonstrate a high level of experience and technical knowledge of radiation protection principles and practices, and must have the ability to implement those principles. The technician must be capable of providing field direction for radiation protection activities to ensure compliance with procedures and 10 CFR 835 requirements, implement radiation protection procedures and apply these to a wide range of environmental remediation, decontamination and decommissioning and other health physics support activities.
They must also be able to demonstrate extensive experience in radiation monitoring, personnel exposure control and other operational health physics activities as required. They must have knowledge of applicable DOE orders and regulations and be able to demonstrate interpersonal skills and a good work ethic, including reliability as an independent worker and as a team member. They must have good written and oral skills and the ability to assume ownership and responsibility to assigned projects.
