Job description
ARS, an 8(a), Native American/Veteran-owned business located in Port Allen, Louisiana (Baton Rouge area) is seeking an experienced Senior RCT (ANSI 3.1) to work within our Field Services Division. You must have hands-on experience performing radiation/contamination surveys, smears and decontamination. Gamma spec experience highly desired. Knowledge and/or experience with NORM is strongly desired. Prior DOE or commercial nuclear power experience preferred. Must be willing to travel throughout the U.S. and work off-shore as required with limited notice. These are permanent positions with a fast-growing company. Relocation to Baton Rouge will be required at candidate's expense. This is an hourly paid position with potential for significant overtime.

Required minimum qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED; AS degree preferred
* Current HAZWOPER Refresher preferred
* Current Radworker II - preferred
* Current physical and respirator fit
* Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
* Must be physically able to wear PPE and respiratory protection as needed.
* Must be able to pass a background screen and pre-employment physical and drug screen.
* Must possess a valid drivers license
