Job description
Position Description: Member of the Extended Power Uprate Turkey Point Site Design Basis / Licensing group.
Prepares 10 CFR 50.59 screenings / evaluations, license amendments, operability determinations, reportability assessments and condition
report dispositions. Interfaces with the NRC and other third party organizations. Experience with power uprates, License Renewal and vintage
Westinghouse and/or Bechtel designed PWRs is preferred. Good understanding of overall plant operations and familiar with 10 CFR Part
50, Technical Specifications, UFSAR's, and plant safety analyses. Works independently performing engineering tasks with little or no
precedence while applying nuclear industry standards and regulations to new situations. Assures progress by utilizing management skills to
facilitate team actions, problem solving and conflict resolution.@Position Requires: Bachelor's - Engineering; Eight (8) years experience in
performing 10 CFR 50.59 evaluations, operability assessments, and design basis reconstitution. Position may be filled at a high/lower
level based on candidate experience and education.@Work Schedule: M-F 7:00 - 4:30, with every other Friday off. Possible callouts during
nights and weekends. Must be able to support plant refueling outages, day shift or night shift.
