Job description
Washington Group International is now the Washington Division of URS Corporation. This means the opportunity for an exciting career with us is greater than ever.

We are looking for an Assistant Construction Engineer – Concrete to work at the Integrated Waste Treatment Unit at the INL site in Idaho Falls, ID.

This is a relocation project, and does not provide per diem. Due to the nature of our work and contracts with government agencies, US citizenship is required

This individual will assist P.E. in development of mix designs, concrete and soils data collection, tracking and reporting, computer modeling and drafting. Provide field guidance in regards to appropriate concrete patching techniques and ensure proper work steps are implemented into the work packages.

Description of ideal candidate
Requires:
•        2-4 years construction experience required or demonstrated equivalent experience, (BS in civil engineering or an intern working towards the degree preferred)
•        Excellent computer skills with a thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
•        US citizenship, and ability to qualify for appropriate security clearances

Preferred Qualifications:
•        a general working knowledge of AutoCAD would be helpful
•        Minimum of 5 years experience preferred
•        Experience working with government contract work (DOE, DOD, DOT)
