About Battelle Energy Alliance
Battelle Energy Alliance (BEA) is a limited liability company wholly owned by Battelle and created to transform INL into the preeminent, multi-program national laboratory within ten years.

BEA embraces the vision set forth by DOE of a nuclear energy renaissance that will enhance the nation's energy security and reshape the world's energy economy.

The Battelle Energy Alliance Team consists of:

* Battelle: a global science and technology enterprise that develops and commercializes technology and manages laboratories for customers. Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, Battelle has a vast science and technology reach.
* Babcock & Wilcox Technical Services Group, Inc.: the premier manager of complex, high-consequence facilities, will manage INL' s nuclear and national security operations.
* Washington Group International: the leading nuclear infrastructure management company, will assess and optimize INL' s infrastructure and create the new infrastructure needed to support DOE' s vision for INL.
* The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI): a non-profit research and technology organization, which will serve as the vital link between INL and the domestic and international commercial nuclear power industry.
* The Massachusetts Institute of Technology: the world's leading nuclear science and engineering university, will help INL create the atmosphere of scientific inquiry and lead a National University Consortium as well as the three Idaho research universities of the Idaho University Consortium in support of nuclear research and related education programs.
