Job description
Position Summary:
The System and Plant Engineering Manager will provide overall leadership to the Electrical and I&C Systems, Balance of Plant Systems, NSSS Systems, Reactor and Plant engineering groups. This position will manage activities assigned to the system and plant engineering department in support of key processes such as corrective action, work control, outage planning and supply chain.

Essential Responsibilities: Percent of Time
a) Work jointly with the site management team to support maintaining the plant in manner that the station operates safely, reliably, and in a cost effective manner. 50%

b) Develop short term and long term plans to enhance station viability and effectiveness. 10%

c) Provide technical and logistical support of refuel outages. 10%

d) Develop and control capital and O&M budgets. 10%

e) Interface with internal and external oversight groups including INPO and NRC. 10%

f) Serve on the station Operations Committee (OC) and as a member of the Emergency
Response Organization (ERO). 10%

Description of ideal candidate
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience and education is required.

A minimum of 10 years nuclear power plant engineering experience and a minimum of 5 years of engineering or equivalent supervisory experience is required.

Diverse knowledge base in multiple engineering programs and processes also required. Management training or education, PE license or previous SRO license/certification preferred.

Strong Management experience is highly considered!
