OPPD to test sirens near Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Station

The test is done once a year to make sure the system will signal those around it in the event of a serious accident at the plant, which is located 19 miles north of Omaha. OPPD asks anyone who notices a siren malfunction to call them at (402) 636-2000.
