Directions to the Maine Yankee Site

From the south:
Travel I-95 north to I-295 (exit 6A - South Portland). Take Exit 22 (Brunswick, Route 1 North). Follow Route 1 North through the towns of Brunswick and Bath. In Bath, Route 1 crosses the Kennebec River. Approximately seven miles from the Bath bridge, turn right onto Route 144. Continue straight on this road, approximately two miles, to the plant entrance and follow signs. (Note: Route 144 will hairpin to the left, do not follow Route 144 at this point, but continue straight down the hill.)

From the north:
From Augusta, take Route 27 South to the intersection of Route 1 in Wiscasset. Travel south on Route 1, approximately 4 miles to the junction of Route 144. Turn left onto Route 144, and proceed straight for the approximately two miles, to the plant entrance and follow signs. (Note: Route 144 will hairpin to the left, do not follow Route 144 at this point, but continue straight down the hill.)
