Rocky Flats Nuclear Bomb Facility (closed)

  This is a 1991 aerial view of the Rocky Flats nuclear bomb facility, 16 miles northwest of Denver. The main job now at the plant, shut down since 1989, is cleaning up the 14.2 tons of radioactive plutonium that remain.
