Davis Bessie Nuclear Power Plant

  This undated photo shows corrosion on the reactor lid at the Davis-Besse nuclear plant in Toledo, Ohio. The corroded reactor head of the plant would have been able to withstand more pressure than normal and continue operating safely for several months beyond the time that the plant was shut down, federal regulators said Tuesday, May 4, 2004.
