Y-12 National Security Complex

The Y-12 National Security Complex is critical to the security of our nation. Its current focus is the production and refurbishment of weapons components, storage of nuclear material and preventing the spread of weapons of mass destruction. Y-12 is one of the nation’s premier nuclear materials facilities. Y-12 is managed by BWXT Y-12, a limited liability enterprise of BWX Technologies and Bechtel National Inc., for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).
