Power Plant POI for GPS
« on: May 29, 2008, 10:51 »
I don't know if this is the right forum, if not the mods can move it :)

I've made a .csv doc for GPS units that allow for custom POI lists. This file has the longitude and latitude for all the plants in America, I think. I'm curious how many people would be interested in this. If you like it, let me know. If you find a problem with it, let me know and I can fix it. I haven't driven to every plant since making it, but it looks good to me.
If someone would like to host it for me, let me know. It's only a couple kb's. Otherwise, I'll make a spot for it this summer, if there's any interest at all.

I created a poi file for the garmin devices a few years ago, and posted about it in this message:

You can download the file here:

I have tghe ability to create the file in other formats, if people want it (like tomTom or Magellan).  I use a Garmin NUVI, so thats what I made.
