Did the NUF exam change?
« on: Sep 18, 2007, 04:33 »
Luckily I do not have to take it, but I heard that the format/bank changed and it is even more in depth than before. I heard some SHPs talking about it and they were at a loss for a study guide, etc.

Any gouge out there on this?

 ???

I took it at Perry in the spring, and I hadn't taken it in 10 years.
Other than being heavy on instruments and theory, it didn't seem any harder or easier to me.
Very few calculation questions.

Yeah... If only I knew where to find a study guide for the Nuclear utilities fundamantals HP test...

hmmm.

I'm told by people that took the 'new' test, that you should study a little extra on parts RP-2 to RP-5, as found on this page:

And this quiz wouldn't hurt:

I don't think the test really changed much; however the people that just took it here at Catawba had to take it on the computer instead of paper. The people I asked about it said it had more instrument stuff on it. Maybe just being on a computer taking it messes with your mind a little.

Henry Black???? Who dusted the cobwebs off of your old butt?
How ya been, old-timer?
Well, by God, how big a boy are ya?

Anyway, if someone was truly struggling and needed a really good study guide, I could help you out.
PM me and I can send it to you in a Word document.
