I stayed at Best Western (www.crystalriverresort.com) the last time I was there.

Older place, but walking distance to good resturants and about 4 miles from access road.  Access road is another 4 miles.

For anyone pulling a camper to the CR-3 outage.

Nature Coast Landings 352/447-2299--Crystal River    http://www.naturecoastlandings.com/

Nature's Resort 352/628-9544--Homosassa                http://www.naturesresortfla.com/

I heard that Nature Coast Landings just had a rate increase for Winter. $700 a month

Nature's Resort has no increase for winter. They are $450 to $550 a month depending if you are on or off the water.

Anyone know where I could rent a room in the Crystal River area?  I will be starting work there next month, but my husband and kids will be staying in VA until the end of the year.  So its going to be me on my own the rest of the year.

I prefer not to have to stay in a hotel/motel for 9 months, and I am not going to get my own apartment because I am not moving my household furniture.

If anyone can be of any help, thank you!

if you are interested in renting my dream waterfront cottage , call me.
my name is jerry, i am a fisherman and love sharing experiences. i have a place on the homosassa river next to the two best resturants,or grills / bars in town. i have a canoe w/paddles and you are only .8 mi.s to the springs. i am a builder and buisness is slow so im interested in renting my place. it is an older mobil home, but is very comfy with a new  central ac system. the views are incredible. if you are a bird watcher, the cranes and egrets are always out by the dock. florida at its best. manatees evrywhere, dolphins, fish off the dock or just enjoy a cocktail and the view. 3 bedrooms 1 bathroom could sleep more. all you need is personals and food. i have a flats boat and an offshore boat .i can take you fishing if you want. i am a liscensed cptn. i have never rented it yet, i would have no problem getting 1000.00 week.  i am hoping to rent for the 4 month outage in sept. to one group of responsable people. we can negotiate a fair figure. please keep in mind, if all you require is lodging alone, this place will seem pricey. if you want the florida experience, it will seem totally affordable. i can accomodate your every outdoor experience . oh yes utilities included. just call me renting or not i will assist you out of towners with any questions . if this message seems too friendly,i am happily married, 2 boys, christian. we need more nice people in the world dont you think? 352-585-2763 cell
