Been here a week, and all I can say is that this is the nicest small town I have ever been too. Not only did I call the library and find a house (furnished) to rent for $600, but the owners typed up a 4 page list of where everything was located from places to eat, to the nearest hospital.

There are a few small things to see here such as a covered bridge, miners museum and in Bedford a Living History Village, auctions and markets.

I suggest that you travel over to Lancaster County to view the Amish and Mennonite way of life, and to do some shopping.

More later.
