The weather should start to get better soon.
I had a great time in the Ashtabula area.

I have heard about great winery's. The area is a bit depressed. The union guys are easy to get along with. Cleveland is close. From April to December isn't the worst time of year. There aren't 100 technicians, just a few. Sounds like I'm gonna enjoy myself.

I will give up the spokesman job and pass that on to another worthy individual.

Oak Ridge will, once again, be the secret city. After our Thursday night nukeworker parties, we managed to get run out of the conservative little cottage town. Ruby Tuesday's, Outback, and Applebee's all 86ed us.

Thanks. I will enjoy Lake Erie this year. What happens at Putin Bay, stays at Putin Bay!!

uhhh, Dave, it's "Put-in" as in 'placing a boat in the water.' Not "Putin" as in "Russia is mine!!!!!"

I know.....;)
I just figured if I spelled it the right way, I would get some rather interesting responses, because I know too many old road whores, and I know how they think.....lol
Thanks, though.

when spring kicks in, in about ten days, start yakking at the union workers.  iffen ya offer the beer, they'll more'n likely offer a seat on their boat for walleye fishing.  best eating fish there is.  save the cheeks four later.

Dave,

Seems like a career reversal, from Specialist to humping lead around all day, but I guess it pays the bills.

Hope your not working for that SECond rate company anymore.

Later, RG

No, I am not humping any lead. I am a LEAD Tech. If that was an attempt at comedy, you did make me laugh.... ;)

I am actually working for Parallax, out of their Oak Ridge office. They are treating me quite well and I have no regrets that I came up here.

Everyone here from the laborers to the upper management are working toward a common goal, and they know how to implement the team concept. I do miss Oak Ridge already, but sometimes we get the itch to chase the buck. I am fortunate that I fell into a job that has their s**t together.

OH, I got it, LEAD as in LEADER!

I just assumed, after Oak Ridge and the SECond rate management, most would take a job doing just about anything.

I figure I took a step up when I went to work for that pooper scooper company.

Yea, I'm still working with S**t, but it doesn't make the decisions!

ASHTABULA, isn't that the company with orange trucks, who cuts down trees?

I think that was Asplund, and they were orange trucks. Lots of 'em.

Actually, we are moving dirt into railcars, knocking down buildings, and trying to give this place back to the DOE, by January 1st. I was told about the bad weather, but somehow we squeaked into sunny and 60 degrees. I must have brought it with me from Oak Ridge. I like it up here already, and I don't fish.

We have managed to turn this place into a summer vacation. The best watering hole is Sportsterz, on Geneva-On-The-Lake(GOTL). The owners took us out on the lake on Sunday, in their 32-foot boat. We had a work party at my condo Wednesday, and had about 40 people there. Every night is a carnival down on the strip (GOTL). The 4th of July will be an outright bash. I sometimes forget that I am working here.

Peace, y'all
