We have stayed at the Super 8 in Becker several times but the last we stayed there it had really gotten run down. Would not recommend it to anyone based on our last stay there.

I stayed at the Best Western in Monticello my last time there. The full hot breakfast every morning in the attached chinese restaurant , quiet, clean, indoor pool and only about 10 minutes to the plant. The price was the same as the Days Inn across the street and not a whole lot higher than Amercinn. If I make it back, I'll stay there again.

Keith ~

IF you make it back?  How could you not?
If there's still ice on the lake you can stay in my fish house?!?!

In Becker there's a brand spanking new hotel.  I think they do some weekly rates discounts.

We'd love to have any of the Monticello contractors stay at the brand new Holiday Inn Minneapolis NW-Elk River.

We have:
- a competitive rate (contact me directly for this)
- Free Texas Hold'Em Monday and Thursday nights
- oversized rooms with fridge, microwave and coffeemaker in every room
- free high speed internet
- business center with free computer access
- onsite dining at the Mississippi Valley Grill and Bar with nightly happy hour and appetizer specials
- underground parking (great for the Minnesota winter)
- earn Priority Club points (10 points for every $1 you spend)
- Wild Woods Waterpark (great for when your families come to visit)

We're 10 minutes away from the plant.  I grew up in Monticello and my family still lives there so I can give lots of local pointers.

Give me a call if you'd like to stay with us:
