Where did "Pig Nose" originate?

I first saw it at SONGS in the early eighties. As I traveled I saw it at a lot of other plants.

I first encountered Pig Nose at Calvert in 1979... I think I know who originated it although I will not say who it was due to certain connotations assosciated with it. Did become ubiquitous, though.

Yup.... you got it right.  BVPS in the good old days when men were men and mR's were made of wood.

Rather Hunt Than Tech:
There was another drawing popular at Beaver valley at the same time the pig nose was around.  It was called the "crank".  Within the crank were the initials E.A.S.
