Its late and I'm sitting here staring at Obama and Paris Hilton on nukeworker and wondered how RadBastard chose this photo. So I thought I'd ask everyone the same question... How did you choose that photo and why?

I saw a picture of a handsome guy, and decided to use it as my avatar.

Mine changes form time to time. I have had my daughter up because she is what I am most proud of in my life and I get to look at her when I am on here, I have had charcoal drawings that I did of Ray Charles and Marty Feldman. Currently I have the new Nissan GT-R because it is one of the nastiest autos on the planet and I dream of owning one.

Basically, you will see an avatar that just makes me smile for one reason or another.

Since that is the case and I'm too ugly for view.  I had my twin brother stand in as my avatar.    ;)

Your brother should consider cosmetic surgery.

Well, as a moderator we are encouraged to actually post a photo of ourselves in the avatar window.
Since that is the case and I'm too ugly for view.  I had my twin brother stand in as my avatar.    ;)
(My Lawyer told me to fully disclose the fact that I don't have a twin brother.)

Your brother should consider cosmetic surgery.

So much for being encouraged!!!  ;) :) 8)

My ugly mug is in the Nukeworker softball team photos nicely tucked away so as not to scare little children.

Most flattering picture of myself I could find and representative of what a nukeworker looked like in 'the old days.'

My employer had us go through the 'Who Moved My Cheese' book, and while I was completing all of my interview/background information, I had it in a binder labelled, 'Who Nuked My Cheese?

I drew a House Mouse for the cover of my binder,  and liked it.  So, I scanned it and it is now my pic.

House Mouse?  I thought it was a R.A.T. (Rent-a-Tech)

I edited your avatar, I made the background clear, and added just a little shadow to make it pop.

I happen to work for a major manufacturer of a certain cash crop.  I didn't want to explain how the public doesn't understand that 2nd hand smoke is nowhere near as dangerous as the cigarette is to the intended consumer.  Knowing and explaining that the Alpha cookie goes into the pocket or that there are more than 4,000 compounds rushing directly into the lungs just ahead of the heat source just doesn't get the overall concept of what 20,000 ionizations per incident means.  So, I used a spoof of a particular brand that I may or may not make, from a Wacky Package sticker.  Any questions?

I miss nuke 'tude!

...This U.S.Marine was prosecuted as a killer in 2006 for shooting 2 Al-Quaeda, soldiers, by our government...this is just a reminder that we are in a war, and most of us have family, friends and coworkers who have been to Iraq, or Afghanistan, some made it back, to go again and some a third time..some are in Arlington...the enemy all looks the same to me,,and a man with a gun, that was shooting at me, would get return fire..or like this guy did, one in the head, the back of the head, but "war is Hell"..this may or may not be the way it went down, who knows...but my reason for my profile picture..besides he has that, "New Marlboro Man" look

Okay, I changed mine and yes this is me a few years back. Seeing as I'm turning 50 in a couple of months and planning an all girls getaway with family and some of best friends (including some from high school). I'd pay homage to my last birthday bash which was at 18 and spent in Ocala and Daytona. This photo was taken my senior year of high school.

Pretty simple.

Be careful what you wish for Dave - he could just as well end up being as useless as his good bud, MA Gov. Deval Patrick considering he's been using all his speeches and catch phrases - but then again i don't anything expect more than uselessness from limousine democrats. :)

Now as far as my Avatar goes I consider myself blessed I can even log on to a computer let alone actually do something on it so until I get my 12 year old online to download a picture for me I'm stuck with the standard nukeworker.com choices of avatars
The opinions & views expressed by me are mine and mine alone and may not reflect those of the company.

Using the cover of my book would probably be neat Marlin, but I'm beginning to realize that along with being semi-rich and semi-famous comes a need for a place or two where I can just be my usual schmo self, not an author etc. This has become one of those places. Between calls from my publicist, fan mail (who'da thunk it ... fan mail for me???) and the occasional nut-job who thinks the book is actually true ... go figger on that one ... I like nukeworker because most everyone on here knows me as "that HP guy" and nothing more. Everybody here was nice to me and put up with me even when I was a pain in the a@@ 'cause I was one of the guys. I've seen a lot of benefit from my writing ... don't get me wrong. I'm very grateful for all of it. But I would prefer not to prop myself up with it in here. Here ... In here, I am HAIRDUDE ... dork extrordinare  :P
