Nuke Plant Maintenance Instructor
« on: Feb 14, 2008, 07:41 »
I have an interview for an Electrical Maintenance Instructor at a Midwest Nuke Plant.  I am assuming Mon-Fri type job . Are there any other conditions related with the job that anyone has any experience with?  In other words rsponsibilities during outages, INPO Inspections, on-call for ERO, overtime or usually straight salary etc. Just trying to gain some insight of what the specifics of the job usually entails, as I am first selling myself during the interview rather than interrogating the Interviewer before he is even interested in me. ;D ;D

Usually straight salary,

Oncall for ERO about once out of every four weeks

Usually support outages like everyone else onsite.

For INPO it depends, for trainiong inspections and accredidation you'll be plenty busy.
