Question about work in Dubai

Hi, I'm new to the forum but I'm a navy nuke/electrical operator getting out soon. I was told Dubai is a great place for us to look for work, and that this might be the place to find some info.

So far I've looked around the internet and even sent an email to the HR department at DEWA (Dubai Electric and Water Authority) and no dice. I am trying to track down exactly who to talk to or where to go to find info on these jobs.

Does anyone know anything? Or since I'm on the subject, are there any other countries worth looking into? Where can I make the most money?
