Indian Rock RV Resort 920 W. Veterans Hwy, Jackson, NJ is located about 40 minutes from Oyster Creek. Spacious campsites, with water, electric and sewer at each site, from $595/mo + electric. Some restrictions Sept-May but open all year. RV campsites for workers with their own recreational vehicle, travel trailer, motor home, fifth wheel. All sites minimum 35x50. Hello Camper-  we have spacious  full hook up RV sites here at Indian Rock RV Campground. We are located about 40 miles from Oyster Creek-- its an easy drive. Our sites are spacious and have water, electric and sewer connections at each site. Satellite dishes permitted, WIFI is free. Standard site 30  x50 in size, with 30 amp is $595.00 per month for up to 2 people. Larger sites and 50 amp service are available at a slightly higher  cost. Each site is metered and you pay for electric you use. We have sites available all year that are  winterized . Shower house and laundry facilities are on site but they do close for the winter. The Comfort Inn on 37 going out to seaside heights is a place you would want to avoid unless you have no other option. (Like sleeping in the bed of your truck isn't going to be much better.)
  We worked the outage during Super Storm Sandy. And of course stayed out on the island. Unfortunately we had to evacuate and we wound up at the Comfort Inn.

For the first week we had no power and extremely cold showers. Then one day we had hot water (assuming it was gas heated) and then disapointed when we didn't have it the next day only to be told by management that the water would only be heated at quitting time for the day crew.( Of course my roomie and I were nights.) So 8 Days with no power and no hot water would you think they would give us a break on the room?? Nope. We were told we already recieved a $10 dollar discount for being outage workers and that is all we would get. And the worst part is the housekeeping staff has not come to clean the room once since we have been there!

So book early, stay somewhere else!
