The contest has ended, I have 2 days to award a winner.  Please vote in the poll at the top of the page.

Here are the finalists, which is your favorite?

Here is a link to the contest:

Note:  Notice that "None of the above" and "the original logo" are not options, because I have to award a winner.  We can decide later what to do with the winning entry.

I like the one in the middle best.  Unfortunately, it doesn't have a number so I can't vote for it.  There is not a "None" choice on the poll, so I guess my vote cast won't count.  :(

I had to laugh when I read Atomic Archeologist's post... it was exactly what I was thinking. I know you have to pick a 'winner' and award the prize, but I don't like any of them as much as what we have.

One thought: If the vote ended right now (1030 on 13Jan), #61 (full-body logo) would win.  Is that truly an indication that we like #61 best?  Because, actually, a majority (17 to 12) prefer a half-body logo...we just don't agree on which half-body logo...

No, it's a new logo.  I clearly stated that it was a new logo "in celebration" of our 10th year in business.  I then stated that if we only get crappy logos, we 'might' only use it for one year.  I'm happy with the submissions, and I think we can replace our current guy with one of the finalists.

The bottom 3 won't be considered for a replacement logo, as they are too different from our current logo.  Our current logo has 10 years of brand recognition, we can't throw that away.  When people look at the new logo, they have to 'see' the old logo.

I might use the bottom three submissions for other purposes, such as future bobbleheads, or aids in specific parts of the site, like the study section.  We could 'add them to the family', and give Bob some brothers, or sons.  Hmmmmm.....
