We have a general logon ID so that people can access the computer without all the IT paperwork. This allows access to the electronic logbook, survey maps, ALARA paperwork, tagouts, etc.
No real restrictions regarding internet, but obviously, if you're surfing all shift, someone will prompt you to return to work, usually by finding something nasty that needs doing.... :D
Remember who you love. Remember what is sacred. Remember what is true.
Remember that you will die, and that this day is a gift. Remember how you wish to live, may the blessing of the Lord be with you

While working with GE this spring at fukushima site 2 unit 3 ( 2F3 ) we all had LAN cables provided so we could check email, call home etc when not on the refuel floor. while this is not the norm for most u.s sites it was a nice perk for working in japan :):)

To sleep or surf that is the question.
Tis far greater that a man be sitting doing nothing,
than to be able to browse his employers website.

<Thanks PVNGS>
Sleep is for the weak, and the Aux building.
