Eye exam

I have had an eye injury and will probably wind up with very limited vision in my left eye. My right eye is fully functional still. My question is, how will this affect me in getting a job as an operator?

I would not think it will impact you at all.  There is a SRO license holder here with a glass eye so I would think you would be fine.

That's what I wanted to hear. Am looking forward to actually getting paid for what I've been doing for "beans" for the last 19 years. If I would have know the pay was that much better on the civilian side, and jobs for Navy trained people were plentiful, I would have gotten out years ago. Oh well, I've served my country proud and don't regret much other than being gone on deployments away from my family.
