I am an electrical designer and have been for 30+ years. I have done nuclear work, but not on site.
How do I get unescorted clearance to work at any nuke plant or are they all site specific?

First you have to get a job either in house or as a contractor. Then you get the background check and clearance. Once you "get in" the database it is relatively easy for any other company to approve your access.
