I would appreciate any help anyone can give me to get a job in the Nuclear Power Industry.  My previous 10+ years experience as Mechanical Field Engineer and Mechanical Project Co-Ordinator ended in 1992.  Previous work locations were:
Carolina Power and Light at Southport, NC
New York Power and Light at White Plains, NY supporting Fitzpatrick Plant
TVA at Soddy Daisy, TN
Philadelphia Electric at Peach Bottom in Delta, PA
Commanche Peak at Glenn Rose, TX

Any of my old friends still out there?  I have lost contact with all.

Thanks, Gail Abbott             mgailabbott@gmail.com

I left the nuclear industry for several years in the late '90's pursuing what I hoped would be an alternate career path.  When I came back into the commercial nuclear world as an HP Tech, the only hassle I had was processing my fingerprints . . . it just seemed to take forever.  Well, of course, I had to start taking the NEU/NUF exam again, too.  Other than that, it was no problem.

Hi everyone my name is Robert Florence and I am a HP Tech who has been out of the field for a while. I worked as a tech from 1979 until 1995 when I started a family and I was needed at home to help with the kids. Well the kids are now on their own both Army and serving our nation. The wife is gone and I am in need of a change and I really want to do the nuclear field again. I am very healthy and still very sharp so I will be giving my resume to Bartlette. I just wanted to know if anyone remembered me and are you still active in the field? I am looking for some advice as to what to expect. Are there enough jobs to go around and should I avoid any place or anyone. If you need to contact me my email address is dvlpbob@aol.com please feel free to send me a message.
