Where did "Pig Nose" originate?
« on: Dec 11, 2007, 08:23 »
I first saw it at SONGS in the early eighties. As I traveled I saw it at a lot of other plants.

I first encountered Pig Nose at Calvert in 1979... I think I know who originated it although I will not say who it was due to certain connotations assosciated with it. Did become ubiquitous, though.

There was another drawing popular at Beaver valley at the same time the pig nose was around.  It was called the "crank".  Within the crank were the initials E.A.S.

I first saw it at Point beach in 79, so it must have propagated rapidly at that time. I seem to recall a connotation with the Muppet Show, which was popular then.

I saw it at Millstone in 79, see what happens when there isn't enough Swine Flu nasal spray to go around, it spreads like wild fire.  :P
