Laguna Verde is located about 70 miles north of the City of Vera Cruz in the State of Vera Cruz right on the Ocean. The local area has a very desirable climate and the roads that lead to and from the plant are usually in dis-repair. Lots of oranges and pineapples are grown in the area. I found the people of Vera Cruz to be somewhat standoffish, and the mountainous area in close proximity to the plant are very undeveloped. Not much English spoken in the area.
