appears to be a dead link. Is anyone getting good independent coverage recently?

RADBASTARD:
I did find a pretty good one today I am thinking about.

  http://www.ushealthcareplans.com
They had a good family rateS at $165 a month and it won't go up for as long as you have it I was told.
There's a $125 ENROLLMENT FEE.

They have higher family plans for $272.50 and 349.50 depends on what you want,They seem reasonable.

Single plans for $87.50 - $109.45

It's a PPO $30 doctor copay,ALSO COME WITH PRESCRITION PLAN $10/20/50
EYE AND DENTAL-SAVE 70% ON DENTAL PROCEDURES
Eye $10 for exams save 65% on eyeware
THEY PAY %70 of hospital and medical procedure.I guess thats your detuctable
$100k hospital bill they pay 70k
Lab and bloodand specialists $50,xrays $20
 ciropractor visit $20
It's a little different that you don't get a big dedudt.up front and than you pay the rest.
11K DEATH BENIFIT WITH THE PLAN

I talk to a TONY SANTOS 800-320-0760 EXT:232

Radbastard, that plan doesnt sound half bad. Did you ever end up purchasing the plan?  Cobra is always a bad deal, the rate is always out of sight; the only benefit to using it is skipping a prequalification physical and avoiding the dreaded waiting period on a new medical plan if coverage has lapsed.

RADBASTARD:
Dave I did not purchase it yet.I am still on cobra for this month. We will be going back to st lucie in september so I am debating on what to do.
I may wait this time and after st lucie when we get laid of and get on the plan.We have so medical things we want to get done this month and the blue cross will cover almost everything.
It will save me a bunch of money between me and my wifes cobra $593 a month in savings

He also said it's month to month so your not lock in for anytime.I guess you could jump back and forth.

Has anyone else checked out or purchased the plan described above?
