I was working with Vic when he died. I was there. He was a good man and I think about him and the event of his death quite a bit. I did'nt know he was at sl-1. If he talked at all about it back then I probably would not have known what he was talking about. He mainly talked about home and I got the impression he really loved his wife. That outage was to be his last, he planned to retire. At the time he was one of the few truly old timer hps I had encountered and I was just beginning to see my profession from  a way different perspective. I didn't have much since back then and have only a little more today, but I value highly the stories and wisdom from men like Vic.
