radiography training manual
« on: Aug 25, 2010, 08:56 »
Does anyone have a copy of  book is called Working Safely in Gamma Radiography. September 1982 Authors are Stephen A. McGuire and Carol A. Peabody?

It contains several pictures of  the results from placing a radiography source in your hip pocket.  Nothing like pics of someone's butt falling off to sharpen your attention while handling radiography sources.

If you have copy of book you don't want anymore please contact me.  Or if you have access to a color scanner, could you scan in and send me copies of the photos for use in training materials.

Thanks

It's black and white but it's the manual you are looking for from the ORAU library (NUREG 0024).

I have it Grantime.  I use it in my training classes.  Are you just wanting the pics of the radiation burns?

If what you are looking for are just the images for radiation injuries. Go to Bing-images and type it in. Just click on the picture to go to the site the photo came from.
